THE EcoWaste Coalition said on Tuesday that medallions sold at the Quiapo Church in Manila contain excessive lead.
The group said an x-ray fluorescence test revealed that they contain 100,000 parts per million (ppm) of lead. A succeeding confirmatory analysis said that they contain 255,000 ppm of lead, which is way above the100 ppm permissible limit.
