In 1997, my uncle Jojo gave me a VHS tape from a neighbor, which was entitled "A Dangerous Life." It was a 1988 Australian-produced television film about the last years of the Ferdinand Marcos dictatorship. Of course, even if I was only in high school back then, I was already very familiar with the major characters.
