Italian Embassy buys winning Ateneo Art Awards piece

Italian Ambassador Marco Clemente warmly welcomed young and talented Filipino artist Luis Antonio Santos, the winner of the 'Ateneo Art Awards - Fernando Zóbel Prizes for Visual Arts 2024.

He was accompanied by Ateneo Art Gallery Director and Chief Curator Maria Victoria 'Boots' Herrera for the official presentation of Santos' awarded work, entitled 'Form,' which belongs to the 'Threshold' series. The painting was selected to be part of the Embassy's collection of contemporary Filipino art.
