Maliksi, Newsome star as Bolts rap Gin Kings to level series at 1-1

MANILA, Philippines — Allein Maliksi and Chris Newsome delivered the goods for Meralco as the Bolts rolled past Barangay Ginebra, 103-91 to level their PBA Philippine Cup semifinal series at 1-1 on Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

The sharp shooting Maliksi fired 25 points, while Newsome added 20 as the two veteran stars provided the much-needed leadership and stability for the Bolts, who rebounded from a 92–88 loss in Game 1.
