ILOILO CITY – Inflation rate in Western Visayas spiked to 4.1 percent in April this year, continuing the upward trend in the prices of goods and services since the beginning of the year.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) announced in a press conference on May 16 that the region's headline inflation rose to 4.1 percent in April 2024, up from 3.1 percent in March 2024.
