PALESTINE'S envoy to Manila on May 17 thanked the Philippine government and President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for voting in favor of a UN resolution calling for the revival of Palestine's membership bid.
"Please put it on record that we are grateful to the Philippines for exercising their independence and support for the freedom of Palestine in the United Nations. We are grateful," Saleh A.F. Mohammad, Palestinian envoy to the Philippines, told The Manila Times.
