MANILA, Philippines — The entire archipelago could expect clear, sunny skies until over the weekend except for isolated downpours and thunderstorms in the late afternoon or at night due to the easterlies, the state-run weather agency said on Friday.
Weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said aside from the easterlies, another weather system – the shear line where the hot and cold air converge – is affecting areas in extreme Northern Luzon particularly Batanes, Cagayan and Isabela.
