(UPDATE) PAG-ASA ISLAND, Palawan – Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri on May 16 told the Chinese if they have a "listening post" here to leave immediately since the area belongs to the Philippines.
Zubiri, Senate Majority Leader Joel Villanueva, and Sen. JV Ejercito flew here on a private plane Thursday to launch the construction of a three-story barracks for the Philippine Navy (PN) personnel and a health unit. They were joined by Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr., who flew in on an Air Force plane.
