Vietnamese 'doctor,' cohorts performing abortion arrested

MANILA, Philippines — Operatives of the Bureau of Immigration (BI) arrested a foreign doctor and four other accomplices for allegedly engaging in illegal abortion and other unauthorized procedures.

Immigration Commissioner Norman Tangsingco on Wednesday said the five were arrested in a wellness clinic along Macapagal Blvd, in Pasay City following intelligence information about the group's illegal operations.
