Malonzo out for 6 to 8 weeks

(UPDATE) WITH athletic Barangay Ginebra Jamie Malonzo undergoing surgery last week, his spot is now vacant as Gilas Pilipinas is scheduled to regroup by June 22 to begin preparing for the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament.

The 6-foot-5 Malonzo tore his calf muscle during the tail end of Ginebra's elimination round schedule in the PBA Philippine Cup.
