MALMO, Switzerland – Twenty-four-year-old Swiss singer Nemo won the Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday, becoming the first nonbinary artist to claim victory in the world's biggest musical competition.

Nemo's "The Code" garnered the highest score from nations' juries and the number of popular votes to get 591 points, edging out Croatia in the finals, held in Sweden's Malmo.
