THE provinces of Ilocos Norte, Cagayan and Pangasinan will likely have a "dangerous" heat index of between 45 degrees Celsius and 47 degrees Celsius, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Monday.
The National Capital Region will swelter at 43 degrees Celsius until Tuesday based on Pagasa's two-day forecast, weather specialist Robert Badrina said.
