Nikola Jokic is the Most Valuable Player in the NBA. That can mean many things, but in the end, this is the most prestigious individual award in basketball. Of course, there is the NBA Finals MVP, but that is only made more prestigious because it comes with an NBA championship. The only exception was Jerry West, who won the first award.
The Joker has won three of the last four MVP awards, and the only time he lost it, there were insinuations of "voter fatigue." The MVP award is not just based on statistical performance, it is famously subjective with the 100 media members that will decide on the outcome.
