With the Conference Semifinals still raging on, major storylines have emerged for teams and players that failed to advance in the playoffs.

For the first time since 2005, three of the NBA's brightest stars – LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Steph Curry – are no longer competing and are licking their wounds. These stars lorded it over the league for so long and they were still expecting to do so until reality happened.
