Food tourism to boost economic growth

TOURISM Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco said food tourism has strong potential to boost economic growth and cultural interchange in the Asia-Pacific region.

'Gastronomy tourism is not just about indulging in delicious food; it also has immense economic and cultural benefits for the Asia-Pacific region,' Frasco said during the 3rd World Tourism Industry Conference and Business Luncheon on Thursday.
