SEN. Francis Tolentino on Thursday urged the government to build heat-resistant classrooms amid the dangerously high temperature the country was experiencing due to El Niño.

He said that constructing heat-resistant and typhoon-resistant school buildings is necessary should extreme weather patterns become the norm because of global warming.
