Apple TV+ has been on a roll this year with its history based and inspired content.
I already talked about "Masters of the Air" which is based on the book of the same title about US World War II pilots from the 100th Bombardment Group aka the "Bloody Hundreth." These were heroes, skills and machines of a great but fading era with most of the generation having shuffled off this mortal coil. It's produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg and is yet another companion series to the landmark, "Band of Brothers."
