PHILIPPINE economic growth momentum is likely to slow down this year following the below-expectations first-quarter uptick, analysts said.

Gross domestic product (GDP) growth moderated to 5.7 percent in the first quarter, down from last year's 6.4 percent and falling short of the 5.9 percent median in a Manila Times poll of economists.
