LEADING manufacturers and retailers have expressed willingness to explore a voluntary price freeze on essential goods amid the El Niño, according to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
Trade Secretary Alfredo Pascual took the lead on implementing necessary actions to address rising prices of some basic commodities due to the weather phenomenon during a meeting with industry stakeholders.
