PLDT nets P9.8B in first quarter

PLDT Inc. on Thursday reported that its net income rose to P9.80 billion in the first quarter of 2024, up by 9 percent year on year from P9 billion a year earlier.

The telco said that core income, excluding the impact of asset sales and Maya Innovations Holdings, reached P9.30 billion, up by 8 percent from P8.60 billion.
