SEVEN Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) officers at the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) in Muntinlupa City were relieved of their duties to pave the way for an investigation into complaints that wives of inmates were forced to submit to strip and cavity searches when they were visiting their spouses.
BuCor Director General Gregorio Pio Catapang Jr. identified those relieved as Correction Officers 1 Karen Soriano, Kiera Iket, Odesa Etong, Ahmor Darasin, Guada Bello, Melowyne Tallongan and Angelique Domingo.
