MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Francis Tolentino urged the Department of Education (DepEd) and Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to build "heat-resistant" classrooms to protect students and teachers from the extreme heat.
The senator on Thursday said that DepEd should consult with the DPWH to ensure that the construction and renovation of classrooms includes proper ventilation.
