Council to create database of govt lands

(UPDATE) MALACAÑANG has issued an administrative order (AO) creating an interagency coordinating council that will consolidate the master list of all lands owned by the state.

Signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin on April 30, AO 21 identifies one of the key strategies in the Philippine Development Plan 2023-2028 which seeks to establish livable communities as it rolls out 'the creation of a database containing a complete inventory of idle government lands.'
