MANILA, Philippines: President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Monday said he expects the Department of Education (DepEd) to revert to the old school calendar next year.
The chief executive said he asked Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte to circle back to the old calendar amid the cancellation of face-to-face classes due to the extreme hot weather brought by the El Niño.
