Hundreds of applicants hired on Labor Day

TUGUEGARAO CITY: At least 201 applicants were hired on the spot during simultaneous job fairs in various sites in Cagayan Valley initiated by the Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) in celebration of the 122nd Labor Day and 50th year of Labor Code on Wednesday, May 1.

Labor and Employment regional director Jesus Elpidio Atal Jr. said 1,030 applicants tried their luck during the fairs.
