WE are not alone in suffering from this oppressive heat wave. Anyone reading regional news and financial websites of repute (not the wacko right-wing sites Cut and Paste loves to cut-and-paste in lieu of original writing and insight, of which some of those previously cut-and-pasted have been taken off mainstream servers for not just being fake news but malevolent lies) shows Thailand and many of our Southeast Asian neighbors are also suffering from record or near record temperatures and heat indices (temperature and humidity).
Yet, while we face the results of climate change, environmental degradation and overpopulation, have we done what we can on a substantial and sustained basis to at least ameliorate it?
