BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya: Canadian miner OceanaGold (Philippines) Inc. (OGPI), operator of the Didipio Mine, on Tuesday, April 30, paid more than P421.86 million ($7.58 million) in local business tax (LBT) to a municipality in Nueva Vizcaya and two municipalities in Quirino province for 2024.
Of the P421,862,289.95 tax payment, the local government unit of Kasibu in this province got as much as 50 percent or P210,931,144.98 being host to the Didipio Gold-Copper Project.
