CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY: Mayor Rolando Uy declared a state of emergency here after the Cagayan de Oro Bulk Water Inc. (COBI) cut its water supply, affecting about 800,000 people early Tuesday morning.

Uy signed Executive Order 196-2024 dated May 1, 2024 declaring Cagayan de Oro City under a state of emergency and ordered the activation of its Incident Management Team (IMT) to make sure that water supply in the city continues.
