'Estero de Maypajo' cleanup hailed

THE rehabilitation of the Estero de Maypajo in Caloocan City received a citation during the 4th Gawad Taga-Ilog: Search for the Most Improved Estero, organized by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).

'On behalf of the concerned city officials and personnel, I am extra grateful to the DENR for recognizing our efforts in keeping our waterways, particularly the Estero de Maypajo; this would simply inspire us to keep working for the people,' Mayor Dale Malapitan said.
