Producer price index decline slows in March

THE manufacturing producer price index (PPI) continued to contract in March, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reported on Tuesday.

The 1.0-percent drop, however, improved from February's 1.2-percent contraction. A year earlier, the index grew by 2.9 percent.
