Olympic champ Lee Kiefer congratulates Catantan

(UPDATE) FILIPINO American fencer and Tokyo Olympics gold medalist Lee Kiefer of the US congratulated Filipino counterpart Samantha Catantan on her successful campaign in the Asian and Oceania Olympic Qualification Tournament that secured her spot in this year's Paris Olympics in France.

Lee, who traces her mother's roots from Davao, understands the tough road that Catantan went through particularly after undergoing surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) on her left knee last year.
