TELCO giants PLDT Inc. and Globe Telecom, Inc. (Globe) have intensified their fight against online sexual abuse and exploitation of children (Osaec) in adherence to the recent directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
Globe said it blocked 903 sites related to child pornography in the first quarter of 2024 alone, a 61 percent increase from 559 blocked sites in the first quarter of 2023.
