TWO weather systems – the easterlies and inter-tropical convergence zone (ITCZ) – will bring hot and humid weather in most areas and isolated downpours in other parts of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Monday.

Weather specialist Daniel James Villamil said that the ITCZ -- the imaginary line where winds from the northern and southern hemispheres meet -- is affecting Caraga and Davao Region where overcast skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms could prevail.
