Visiting journalists of the AVPN Global Conference 2024 are given a tour of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, the largest in the country located near the Zayed International Airport. The mosque, which was built by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan between 1994 and 2007, covers 12 hectares. It has a central courtyard that can accommodate up to 50,000 worshippers in a given day and a main prayer room that can has house 7,000 more. It also contains 82 domes and four minarets.
