CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro: With a heat index reaching 42 degrees Celsius, the provincial government here had declared suspension of classes in both public and private schools on April 24.
In issuing Executive Order (EO) 11, Series of 2024, Gov. Humerlito Dolor said that face-to-face classes are suspended in the province due to the heat index forecast by the Department of Science and Technology's (DoST) Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) on Monday, April 22.
