Go slams reports of doctors promoting certain medicines

SEN. Bong Go has denounced reports suggesting that doctors endorse products of pharmaceutical companies in exchange for incentives.

'The news reports on some doctors allegedly owning some shares in a pharmaceutical company and prescribing medicines manufactured by their own company are worrisome,' Go said in a statement on Tuesday, April 23.
