THE officers of an electric cooperative in Negros Occidental, including its former general manager and his "successor," have been ordered removed by the National Electrification Administration (NEA) over an alleged illegal disbursement of P87.2 million.

NEA Administrator Antonio Mariano Almeda, in a press briefing at the agency's central office in Quezon City, identified those sacked from the Negros Occidental Electric Cooperative (Noceco) as former general manager Jonas Discaya and his successor Ray Bustamante.
