MANILA, Philippines: The easterlies – winds coming from the east that pass through the Pacific Ocean and carry humid and warm weather – have resurfaced and are affecting most parts of the country, the state-run weather agency said on Tuesday.
On one hand, the same weather system will bring overcast skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over SOCCSKSARGEN (South Cotabato, Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani and General Santos), Basilan, Tawi-tawi, Davao Oriental, Davao Occidental, Samar, Northern Samar, Catanduanes, Albay and Sorsogon.
