Coin deposit machine collections hit P648.9M

THE Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) has so far collected almost P648.9 million from coin deposit machines that were introduced last year in a bid to boost the circulation of money.

The number of transactions reached 161,725 as of April 15, with 179.6 million coins having been deposited and exchanged for e-wallet credits or shopping vouchers.
