SC reverses decision on Mamba case

THE Supreme Court has reversed the decision of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to dismiss the December 2022 disqualification petition filed against Cagayan Gov. Manuel Mamba.

In a decision issued on April 16 but made public only on Monday, the Supreme Court en banc said the Comelec gravely abused its discretion in dismissing the petition for disqualification filed by Ma. Zarah Rose de Guzman-Lara against Mamba.
