Mining answers call of sustainability

IN any industry, there is always room for innovation.

That rings true even for mining. For a long time, the process of blasting — long considered an essential component of any mining operation — has relied on wires, signal tubes and surface delay detonators, which can give rise to certain safety hazards such as the lack of blast area security, premature blast, flyrock and misfire.
