'KAINCON' AT FEU SIMMERS AS FOOD MONTH CELEBRATION CONTINUES

THE role of food in history, its intersection with digital culture and the promotion of Filipino food culture were highlighted during the academic conference 'KainCon' at the Far Eastern University (FEU) Manila from April 15 to 17.

Themed 'All Things Filipino Food: Community, Culture, and Economy,' KainCon was a collaboration of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), Philippine Culinary Heritage Movement (PCHM), Slow Food Youth Network Philippines and FEU Manila as part of the Filipino Food Month (FFM) celebrations this April.
