MANILA, Philippines: President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Tuesday ordered the Department of Energy (DoE) to "closely monitor and coordinate with all stakeholders to address the situation" after the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) declared red and yellow alerts in the Luzon grid.
In a statement posted on his social media, the President said he has also directed all government offices "to set the standard in conserving energy and minimizing power consumption."
