'LGUs should decide on class suspension'

THE Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Sunday that it left to the discretion of the local government units (LGUs) and school authorities weather-related class suspensions.

Pagasa Administrator Nathaniel Servando told The Manila Times via Viber that the weather bureau was thankful for the trust given to them by various stakeholders over the immediate and vital information it provides to the public.
