Traffic congestion is a serious matter

METRO Manila's chronic traffic gridlock has suddenly become a popular topic of conversation in government circles this past week, with no less than the secretary of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Benjamin Abalos Jr., and President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. himself sounding off on the issue, with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) chiming in as well.
