THE peso and the benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) both edged lower on Friday, the former weakening by 3 centavos to P56.53 against the dollar and the latter shedding 18.26 points, or 0.27 percent, to close at 6,659.39.
The broader All Shares index also slipped, by 8.47 points or 0.24 percent, to 3,517.40.
