AS this piece was being laid to bed, the showdown between World Boxing Council (WBC) lightweight (140 pounds) champion Devin Haney and challenger Ryan Garcia is still a go for April 20 in Brooklyn, New York.

Despite getting knocked out in seven rounds by Gervonta 'Tank' Davis in April 2023, Garcia remains a popular and bankable boxer.
