CAMP VICENTE LUKBAN, Catbalogan City, Samar: A certain Romulo Micabalo alias Ned/Lukad, the top two leader of the Eastern Visayas Regional Party Committee (EVRPC), was arrested during a joint interagency operation conducted by the Philippine Army's (PA) 8th Infantry "Stormtroopers" Division and the Philippine National Police on Monday, April 8, in Barangay Pitogo, Consolacion, Cebu.
The PA based here reported that Micabalo has a standing warrant of arrest for two counts of kidnapping with serious illegal detention and for robbery with violence against or intimidation of person issued by Judge Fernando Fudulan Jr. of Regional Trial Court Branch 07 in Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur.
