How Marcos policies serve the US but imperil us

PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. gives the clearest demonstration yet of how the United States alliance has worsened, not solved, security issues with China.

After the April 7 West Philippine Sea (WPS) naval exercises by Philippine, US, Japanese and Australian vessels, Marcos expressed hope that such sailings would make Beijing less aggressive. He also said his government is still discussing disputes with China.
