MANILA, Philippines: A magnitude 6.7 quake hit Davao Occidental on Tuesday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The quake, which was tectonic in origin, was felt at 5:48 p.m. Its epicenter was in Balut Island in the municipality of Sarangani, Davao Occidental.
